I recently read an article from the LA Times about a woman who sued Wal-Mart. Nothing special there since Wal-Mart has seen numerous suits filed against them. What makes this one very different, however, is the nature of the case. According to the victim, a rat-tailed rodent petrified her while she was shopping, and caused her to injure her back.
So is there a rodent-infestation going on?
The irony here is that there is no rodent infestation inside the said Wal-Mart. As a matter of fact, the employees knew about the wandering rodent (an animal known as the nutria) and even named it! So why did they fail to inform their customers about it? I have no idea.
Then again, what's the worst that could happen to Wal-Mart shoppers: no double discount Tuesdays?
