Drug of the Moment: Latisse

I've been seeing a bunch of commercials on TV regarding lash extensions. There's L'Oreal and their patented lash-extending mascara, and there's Shu Uemura's freaky synthetic lash extensions that just make your eyes look like it grew feathers.

If those products flat out failed to wow your expectations, the FDA has finally approved Latisse, a drug that helps lengthen them lousy lashes.

Biologically speaking, eye lashes serve as a barrier to protect our eyeballs from gathering dust or small particles. It's not just there so you can flutter them beautifully. So in all technicality, Latisse is meant to aid the growth of lashes for those who have the inadequacy of generating them, a condition called eyelash hypotrichosis. It is not, by any means, an alternative to applying mascara or utilizing those prong-like contraption known to women as lash curlers.

But I'm pretty sure that some would be adamant enough to use them as a lash steroid of sorts.

I haven't tried Latisee (I'm afraid to) but I've been using something for the past 6 months that has given me amazing lashes. I bought it online---called Revitalash. Has anyone else had this kind of growth? It took about 8-9 weeks, and then VIOLA!! Suddenly, my lashes were hitting the top of my brow bone. I never realized what a difference long lashes made on my face.

i heard that you shouldnt put some on your lower lashes though, coz it'll give you hairy cheeks...some girl from the USA pageant said that since they use it haha

I'm so excited to try revitalash mascara, I just can't believe with the result when you put it into. It will help your lash attaches to tips to help visibly elongate and set the stage.
